Defending Zimbabwe's Constitution. Building a Democratic Future.
The Constitution Defenders Forum (CDF) is a democratic platform of everyday Zimbabweans — at home and in the diaspora — defending the 2013 Constitution and the rule of law it created.
What is CDF?
A civic movement, not a political party.
In March 2013, over three million Zimbabweans — 94.4% of those who voted — adopted a new Constitution meant to break from the past and entrench constitutionalism, human rights and the rule of law. CDF was formed by Founders, Defenders and Democrats who came together to make sure that promise is kept: fully implemented, never eroded, and never quietly amended away.
CDF is not a political party. It is a social organisation whose sole mandate is protecting the Constitution and advancing constitutionalism and the rule of law — open to any individual or organisation who shares that goal.
